Andy McAnulla, President of Surpass, Introduces the ATP Innovations in Testing Closing Keynote Panel

The session looked towards the future of assessment and learning

The closing panel session of this year’s ATP Innovations in Testing virtual conference was introduced by Andy McAnulla, President of BTL Surpass, and member of the ATP Board of Directors representing the Europe division.

Andy was invited to introduce the discussion panel, made up of other leading figures within the testing industry, including Isabelle Gonthier, Chair of the ATP Program Committee, and Brodie Wise, ATP Program Vice Chair, on the topic of the evolution of technology trends and their potential impact on assessment.

The discussion promised to be engaging and insightful, particularly in light of the accelerated uptake of technology and change to how students are assessed as a result of COVID-19.

On being invited to introduce the session, Andy commented:

Andy McAnulla

‘It was an honour to be asked to introduce the closing panel session on such a timely and insightful topic. ATP is one of the most important conferences in the assessment calendar, and one the team look forward to contributing to every year. Our platform, Surpass, is constantly evolving, and we, like many other businesses, have seen an accelerated uptake of technologies such as remote proctoring recently, and an increased desire from organizations to embrace everything technology has to offer for assessment. I look forward to continuing the fascinating discussions with our community and am excited about what the future holds for our industry.’
