Sonya Whitworth – Winner 2019
In October 2019 Sonya was named as the only UK finalist for a Stevie Award for Women in Business, in the Female Executive 11-2,500 employees category. Patrick Butlin – Finalist 2019
Patrick joined the Surpass IT team fresh from college in July 2017, and his enthusiasm, passion, and readiness to learn made him ideal for the role. Over a short time, Patrick grew in confidence to become a valuable team member widely respected by colleagues, and earned a well-deserved place as a finalist of the 2019 Bradford Means Business Awards.

Surpass Tutor won the ATP Innovation Fast-Pitch Audience Choice Award for harnessing enterprise-grade AI to deliver instant, expert-level feedback on real examination questions for professional certification and schools-based testing.

Surpass Help Site – Merit Award 2022
Surpass won a Merit Award for a new Developer section of the Surpass Help Site, which entailed rewriting all existing API and Single Sign-On (SSO) documentation into a new and improved format. The judges said “… an excellent entry… an ambitious project; very well executed. Much background work and attention to detail was needed and implemented to good effect.”

The Surpass Help Site was named as the overall winner of the 2020 UKTC Awards. Judges were impressed by the extensive research, cross-team work, and usability testing that went into the re-design of the content to create a more user-friendly experience. Feedback on the entry included: “The user can be confident in the quality of the information provided. The judges declared this to be an outstanding end product for an exceptional team effort.”

High Fidelity Image Viewer – Winner 2017
The high-fidelity image viewer in Surpass won a top prize at the Association of Test Publishers Innovations in Testing conference. The image viewer was designed to deliver super high resolution image sets during medical examination, and this prize is a reflection of how the innovative functionality in the Surpass platform can enhance the assessment experience.
