The Penske Truck Leasing Tech Showdown competition is delivered each year to thousands of Penske employees, testing the company’s top technicians and giving them a platform to compete. The 2021 Tech Showdown will begin next March and the finals are expected to take place next June.
With constantly evolving vehicle technology, technicians must demonstrate all-around skills in efficiently diagnosing and completing vehicle repairs. The program is made up of both written and practical assessments at a district, area, and national level, with one technician being crowned the company’s top technician.
The Tech Showdown event runs across the United States and Canada, with the resilience of the Surpass test driver, and the ability to download tests in advance for areas without a stable internet connection, made Surpass stand out from other potential suppliers.
Penske will utilize the full end-to-end functionality in Surpass, from question authoring and test creation with the ability to include in-test resources for test takers, through to instant scoring and results.
