Key features
Test Development
- The Test Wizard has been enhanced so you can create tests with timed sections and include candidate breaks between sections for better pacing and control.
- Test forms can now include up to 300 items, making it easier to build larger and more comprehensive assessments.
- You can now add items to test forms directly from item lists, even across different subjects, provided they’re part of the same subject group.
Test Administration
- Managing tests is now simpler with the ability to display more rows across Schedule, Invigilate, Results, Moderate, Re-mark, and Audit screens.
- You can also select rows across multiple pages in all Test Administration teams, streamlining bulk actions and improving efficiency.
Item language variants
- Surpass now supports full delivery of tests using item language variants, making it easier to deliver multilingual assessments.
- You can add items with language variants to test forms and choose which languages the test can be scheduled in.
- Tests can be scheduled in any language that has valid variants for all items, with bulk scheduling supported for multiple languages.
- A new Language column is available across Invigilate, Mark, Moderate, Results, and Audit screens, showing the language code of the delivered test. This can be enabled via Site Settings > Customise Columns.
- Language variants inherit the parent item’s ID, with the test’s language code appended (e.g., 123P456|FR). This identifier is visible in Reporting, including the Raw Data Extract.
