VP, Business Development, Canada
The VP, Business Development will seek out new business opportunities and further develop Surpass’ onscreen testing services in Canada. They will be expected to play a key role in defining Surpass’ strategic plans for Canada and in continuing the trajectory of rapid growth in all service areas.
The VP, Business Development must be prepared to travel across Canada, the US and internationally to support sales efforts in meeting with prospective clients and attending relevant industry events.
The role will work closely with key stakeholders across the sales and marketing function, as well as the Co-CEO of Surpass, to ensure strategic plans are aligned and executed, and will be expected to report on progress across all active markets and service areas on a regular basis. The role reports directly to the Chief Commercial Officer.
Key requirements:
- Possess a good technical understanding of assessment technology
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience working in professional certification, computer-based testing or other relevant fields
- A proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding annual sales targets
- A proven track record in bringing new services to market and growing those services
- Experience working in the professional certification or computer based testing market.
Location:
Home/office hybrid working is available on an ongoing basis.
