Just enable Surpass Copilot at subject-level in the <strong>Subjects<\/strong>\u00a0screen in <strong>Setup<\/strong>\u00a0to begin using Copilot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"key-features\">Key features<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Item Authoring<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A new&nbsp;<strong>Language Variant&nbsp;<\/strong>option in&nbsp;<strong>Bulk Update<\/strong>&nbsp;lets you add multiple language variants to selected items or items specified via CSV.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When using&nbsp;<strong>Bulk Update<\/strong>, comments and unit conversions can now be updated via CSV.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A new&nbsp;<strong>Windowed&nbsp;media display option<\/strong> lets you configure MP3 audio media files to open in a window. If&nbsp;Windowed&nbsp;is enabled, you can also set your media to continuously play (and be unable to be closed) until either the media file or the test is finished.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Test Driver<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Improved security<\/strong>, as entering an incorrect keycode or PIN entry five times in SecureClient now incurs a 30-second time-out.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tests containing <strong>Audio Capture<\/strong> questions will now only be available in supported browsers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tasks&nbsp;<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Lead assignees now have the ability to expand their view of items when working in&nbsp;<strong>Comparison View<\/strong>&nbsp;in Individual Review tasks.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the <strong>&#8216;Create New Items&#8217; task,<\/strong> you now have the option to create a list of all the items created in the task automatically.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Test Wizard<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>BYOD Mode<\/strong>&nbsp;can now be enabled for tests created or edited using the&nbsp;<strong>Test Wizard<\/strong>, which is used to let candidates take&nbsp;tests&nbsp;at a test&nbsp;centre&nbsp;on their personal machines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"blog-box_notice-bar has-background\" style=\"background-color:#fdf7b6\">If you have any questions regarding these features in the 24.2 release, please contact: marketing@surpass.com<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"webinar-cta\">\n<h2>Want to know more?<\/h2>\n<p><strong>If you have any questions about the features mentioned in this webinar, or any other features within Surpass, please get in touch with your customer success manager. It is a workflow management tool built right into the Surpass Platform.<\/cite><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\"><blockquote><p><strong>What are the different Task types available in Surpass?<\/strong><\/p><cite>There are four different Task types available in Surpass: Authoring, Review, Standard Setting, and General.<\/cite><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\"><blockquote><p><strong>What are the responsibilities of Task Managers?<\/strong><\/p><cite>Task Managers create, edit, and finalize tasks. They also decide which assignees work on a task, who the lead assignees are, and can monitor the progress of tasks.<\/cite><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\"><blockquote><p><strong>How can tasks be used to track the progress of assignees?<\/strong><\/p><cite>Using tasks in Surpass means you can track the progress of assignees without having to ask about where they are using the donut charts. On the Tasks screen, you can see updates on how many tasks have been completed, as well as a countdown to the expiry date.<\/cite><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\"><blockquote><p><strong>How is the &#8216;create new items&#8217; authoring task different from the &#8216;edit existing items&#8217; task?<\/strong><\/p><cite>The &#8216;create new items&#8217; authoring task is different from the &#8216;edit existing items&#8217; task as it requires less setup. It also has the option of giving more freedom in the type of item created, but it can still restrict the items created.
